This programme focuses on the individual; developing self-esteem, confidence and leadership qualities. Learning to value oneself and others, contributes to society by working together, supporting each other and treating one another with respect.
The emphasis is on personal development, career pathway planning and goal setting. Individual learning plans include achieving NZQA unit standards in strands such as: Computing and Retail.
Work experience and community service projects are a large part of this programme, as is increasing students knowledge of local community groups; all working toward students achieving successful career & life goals.
